Ingredients:
- 1 bag of tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeƱos (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/2 cup guacamole or salsa (optional)
1. Cut the tortilla pieces into quarters and air-fry or oil-fry them to create chips.
2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
3. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foils.
4. Spread a layer of tortilla chips evenly on the baking sheet. Make sure to cover the entire sheet without overlapping too much.
5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla chips. Make sure each chip gets some cheese.
6. Add your desired toppings over the cheese layer. This could include diced tomatoes, diced red onion, sliced jalapeƱos, and chopped cilantro. You can customize your nachos with any toppings you like!
7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two.
9. Serve immediately with optional toppings like sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side.
